From Zenescope Entertainment is a new story, building on two characters. This is Robyn Hood: Hearts Of Darkness.

Reichhardt Fuchs has dedicated his life to hunting monsters. The Master of the Hunt will kill any creature who wields dark powers, even if they are used for good. Fuchs’ previous brushes with evil have put the Children of Darkness, starting with Robyn and Mystere, at the top of his hit list. Now his hunt for them has begun, and it will not stop until blood has been spilled.

Robyn and Mystere make a good team, and their shared link (being a child of darkness) allows them to team up a lot more. The introduction to all of this works out well, and the pace of this issue allows a lot of action.

We also get a bit of the background to Reichhardt Fuchs. His reasons make some sense, even though he is incorrect in this case as we know. I do wonder if we will see some of these characters from his past in the future?

I also get a bit of a Kraven The Hunter feel from his character - by no means this is a bad thing, as it fits in well to the characters involved.

I like the links to the past adventures for Robyn here, as well as the new uses of Mystere's powers. The fact that Fuchs can fight back against them to some degree makes him an interesting threat.

The ending is bittersweet, and I can see it going one of a few ways for the characters involved, but it does well to establish the link with the children of darkness and a way forward for this arc.
