From Rebellion this week, it is 2000 AD - Prog 2270, with a packed issue and an excellent cover!

  • UK and DIGITAL: 23 February 2022 £4.99

  • NORTH AMERICA: 23 March $25.99

  • DIAMOND: DEC211791

  • COVER: Brian Bolland

Judge Dredd: The Citadel by John Wagner (w) Dan Cornwell (a) Dylan Teague (c) Annie Parkhouse

A new Dredd story starts here, and it is harking back to his actions during the Apocalypse War. This could get dark very quickly, and I wonder how this will end up? A good fast issue here though.

Proteus Vex: Desire Paths by Michael Carroll (w) Jake Lynch (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)

Vex's secret comes out here, and I like the way this is built up. There are some excellent scenes and the dialogue is perfect. I like the finish, as now - all bets are off.

Indigo Prime: Whatever happened to Mickey Challis? by Kek-W (w) Lee Carter (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Something new here for Indigo Prime, and it's quite a captivating read. It may be a little difficult for new readers but just go with the flow. Something new is starting here...

Kingmaker by Ian Edginton (w) Leigh Gallagher (a) Jim Campbell (l)

A big flat-out battle here, and a pretty pacy issue. I like the way it is all leading up to something big, and the lines have been drawn. Some good moments here too.

Tharg the Mighty: Stars on 45 by David Barnett (w) Robin Smith (a) Jim Campbell (l)

A fun Tharg story, with some blasts from the past and quite a mix-up. I liked the Zenith comment too.

The Order: Fantastic Voyage by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Simon Bowland (l)

A bit of inner space here, with the threat of the larger problem looming large. I like the way this was paced and has some interesting aspects to it all.

Brink: Mercury Retrograde by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland

Brink returns and there is another murder - well, more than one. But the story looks more to be those who report. Adding some new characters and problems to the police force and their investigations. A slower start, but it's just the beginning.

Available in print from: newsagents and comic book stores via Diamond
Available in digital from: 2000 AD webshop & apps for iPad, Android and Windows 10
