From Rebellion this week is the latest issue of 2000 AD - Prog 2253, here are my thoughts.

  • UK and DIGITAL: 13 October £3.25

  • NORTH AMERICA: 24 November $26 (per pack)

  • DIAMOND: AUG211972

  • COVER: D'ISRAELI

Judge Dredd: The Hard Way by Rob Williams, Arthur Wyatt (w) Jake Lynch (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

The threats keep ramping up, this was an all-action issue. I like the different attacks and the way that the Judges are dealing with them. The tight spaces make this more intense too. I wonder what the fallout will be?

The Diaboliks: Arrivederci Roma by Gordon Rennie (w) Antonio Fuso (a) Jim Campbell (l)

This is escalating quickly. There is some good action here, and the communication between the Churches is funny. The ending really ups the ante here...

Scarlet Traces: Storm Front by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Simon Bowland

Some amazing art going on here, with space battles and attacks. I like the way this is building up, and there are some really great panels.

Pandora Perfect: Mystery Moon by Roger Langridge (w) Brett Parson (a) Simon Bowland

The revenge is on here, with Pandora getting out of jail (as we knew she would) and some funny aspects. The ending is interesting and grim at the same time. I really enjoy this series.

The Out Book 2 by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Some problems at customs here, with some new aliens and the beginning of a new threat in The Out. I like the finish here.

Available in print from: newsagents and comic book stores via Diamond
Available in digital from: 2000 AD webshop and apps for iPad, Android, Windows 10
