From Rebellion this week is a new Regened issue of 2000 AD - Prog 2246.

  • UK and DIGITAL: 25 August £3.10

  • NORTH AMERICA: 27 October $31 (per pack)

  • DIAMOND: JUL211885

  • COVER: STEVE ROBERTS

Cadet Dredd: The Block With No Name by Liam Johnson (w) Duane Redhead (a) John Charles (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Just Dredd in this issue. No Rico. Its a good story, with Dredd without his helmet. Don't get excited though. I enjoyed the story and the links to the academy though.

Mayflies: The Way Forward by Michael Carroll (w) Simon Coleby (a) Dylan Teague (c) Simon Bowland (l)

A good done-in-one story, giving the Mayflies a mission for future stories. I like the setup and the decisions being made.

'Splorers by Gordon Rennie, Emma Beeby (w) Neil Googe (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Simon Bowland (l)

A quick, fun story, with some good introductory sci-fi and humour here. I like the way it works out, even if the ending was a little predictable.

Future Shocks: Trash Culture by Karl Stock (w) Steve Roberts (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

A good, youthful Future Shock, with some nice artwork. I wondered where the story was going and although the ending was a little soft, it was still fun.

Chopper: Chopper Don't Surf by David Barnett (w) Nick Roche (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)

Great to see Chopper, and I like this story worked out well. The reasons for Chopper discovering the board way was excellent, and the ending bodes well for the future.

Available in print from: newsagents and comic book stores via Diamond
Available in digital from: 2000 AD webshop and apps for iPad, Android, Windows 10
