Fully funded and ready to go, Sentinel Issue 9 - "77" is on Kickstarter now with time left to back it.

I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of this upcoming comic from Sentinel, and it looks to be a great read for new and older readers.

The comic itself has some excellent horror tales, all with a suitable twist at the end. They work really well and make you think as you work your way through.

There's three complete terror tales included, and here's a taster of each!

Illuminati: Royalist Bob Blainey is introduced to the theory that his beloved royal family might just be a bunch of shape changing lizards!

The Seven Penny Nightmare: Johnny Walker and Paddy Milton are tasked with creating an exciting new boys comic but it's rejected by their editor. Things, though, sometimes have a life of their own.

Monster Ink: Skinzy is a talented Newcastle graffiti artist who specializes in horrific monster designs. His choice of a haunted house to praise on might not be the best idea though.

Combining some classic art, and brilliant storytelling, these one-shot stories build you up and take you along the path. There are some nice twists here, and the way they are told really takes you back.

I think that the stories all work really well and should appeal to all ages, my personal favourite is Monster Ink, although I love the vibes from them all.

You can find the Sentinel comic on Facebook and Twitter and the Kickstarter campaign is here. The rewards include digital and print editions, with a selection of extra rewards and perks.
